Thomas Froy

I focus on major Jewish Thinkers of the twentieth-century, including Emmanuel Levinas, Martin Buber and Jacques Derrida, as well as other philosophers of the period, including Martin Heidegger, Giorgio Agamben, Michel Foucault and Judith Butler.

My research focusses on notions of home, belonging, hospitality, nation and identity. I am currently working on a project concerned with the notion of ‘critique’ and its relationship with phenomenology.
